TurningPoint Systems, Inc. is managed by its Founder and President, Elery LeBlanc.
Elery founded TurningPoint Systems in 1979. Since then, Elery has been personally involved with all the implementations of TurningPoint's innovative and industry specific software for the Tobacco, Candy, Food Service and C-Store distributor, Grocery Wholesalers and the Wholesale Drug/Pharmaceutical industry.
His customer base ranges from small to mid sized distributors to multi-billion dollar national operations. By staying close to his customers, Elery has been able to continue the innovation of the core software to include emerging technology such as mobile computing, web portals and business analytics. As President and CEO, Elery has installed a seasoned management team with deep industry, technical, project management and implementation experience that will continue the tradition and successfully deliver world class solutions to TurningPoint's growing customer base.
Prior to forming TurningPoint, Mr. LeBlanc held various management positions at companies with large management information systems requirements. These include: Omni Spectra, Inc., Coopers & Lybrand, Investors Mortgage Company and Varian Associates.
Kirk joined TurningPoint Systems in 2006, after serving as Vice President of Operations for RFID Systems (formerly McLane-Group Systems) which was established in 1993 by Drayton McLane, Jr.
During his nine years with M-Group, Kirk managed software implementations, domestically and internationally, for medium to large size companies within the candy/tobacco, grocery, and retail markets. Kirk's experience includes process-improvement consulting, where he has guided numerous companies to re-engineer operational processes, allowing them to become more efficient within the supply chain.
Kirk has a degree in English from Muskegon College and was a member of the United States Air Force from 1985-1993. While a Sergeant in the USAF, Kirk specialized in systems design and coding for military base logistics, communications, and missile-tracking systems. After his honorable discharge from the military, Kirk went on to design and install systems in the manufacturing and insurance sectors, before joining M-Group Systems in 1997.
Emily graduated from Texas A & M University in College Station, Texas, with a degree in International Business. She joined RFID Systems (formerly M-Group Systems) in 1998, where she spent eight years acquiring an extensive knowledge of grocery, candy, and tobacco distribution industry best practices and technical skills specific to the grocery sector.
Emily managed over 20 software implementation projects for various-sized grocery distribution warehouses, including a 15-facility software installation for the leading home-delivery grocery service, and international facilities owned by industry giant, Drayton McLane, Jr. Emily's technical background consists of the design and implementation if end-to-end grocery distribution software, with focused expertise in web applications, accounting software, RF scanning, data warehousing, business intelligence, and warehouse productivity modules.
Sandra Callahan joins Turning Point systems. She has a degree in International Finance and Sociology from Suffolk University. Sandra’s offers over 12 years of corporate experience, working in the Banking Industry and IT Services. She brings to Turning Point Systems strong leadership, proven management skills and structure. She has the ability to collaborate on a company’s vision and apply her business development experience. She demonstrated this by, creating, managing and deploying a training line of service for Deloitte Consulting, primarily in the government sector. Sandra’s main role is to create more business activity, by way of tactfully marketing, supporting and enhancing the current sale force.
