Track and Trace
The FDA announced that it did “not intend to take action against wholesale distributors” who do not meet the Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA) Salable Returns Verification Requirement before November 27, 2020.
Suspicious Order Monitoring
The DEA launched the Suspicious Orders Report System (SORS) online, a new centralized database required by the Substance Use-Disorder Prevention that promotes the Opioid Recovery and Treatment for Patients and Communities Act (SUPPORT Act, Pub. L. 115-271). The SUPPORT Act requires all DEA registrants that distribute controlled substances report suspicious orders to DEA. As a result, the SORS Online system should only be used by DEA registrants that distribute controlled substances to other DEA registrants.
